Akshay Gugnani

I currently work as a Software Engineering Researcher at IBM Research as part of the Industry Solutions team. I contribute to the research and development of solutions for AI for Education, Finance and Retail assets. My role involves studying and experimenting with possible natural language processing(NLP) solutions, information extraction and data mining solutions for structured/unstructured data and developing pipelines for these solutions. My current focus is on a AI for Retail, where I am exploring explainable ML models to enable demand sensing and predictive demand insights by mining product reviews. I have previously developed PoC and solutions in Finance and Education Assets.
